Chloe Tate, Executive Director
Wendy Cox, Administrative Assistant
Rylee Meek, Membership Coordinator
Cassie Brethen, Program Coordinator

Once described as “relentlessly cheerful,” Chloe is a lover of all things colorful and practically every fruit known to man. With a degree in Leadership & Organizational Studies, she is a passionate and experienced project manager who is ready to make a significant impact. In the workplace, she brings a balance of creativity with a sense of problem-solving and urgency to get things done. Her experience includes developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating nonprofit programs as well as program administration, board management, systems development, process improvement, event planning, and cross-functional coordination. When she is off the clock, you can find Chloe tending to her houseplants or attending events in her local community.

Wendy’s journey with the Jaycees began with a simple invitation to a game night with her friend, Debbie Velten. That single evening sparked a lifelong involvement with the organization. It was through the Jaycees that Wendy found more than just a community—she met her husband, proving the “5th Pillar” exists in Jaycees. The couple has now been married for nearly 30 years. Wendy was recognized for her service to the community and the organization with a Senatorship on November 17, 2009.  Wendy is a proud mother to two daughters, aged 25 and 18. Her household is rounded out by Max, her grumpy but lovable 10-year-old rescue dog. Whether she is supporting her daughters, volunteering, or enjoying time with Max, Wendy continues to live by the Jaycee values that have shaped her life and family for the past 30 years.

Rylee Meek is an Oklahoman with nearly a decade of experience building programs, coalitions, and leadership pipelines that strengthen communities and civic participation. Her work has spanned healthcare advocacy, elections, polling, and environmental issues, with a consistent focus on turning values into action and helping people step into leadership with confidence. She has led and supported initiatives that recruit, train, and empower emerging leaders, working alongside nonprofits, political organizations, and grassroots campaigns across the country. In addition to her professional work, Rylee is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for children in the foster care system and a regular volunteer in local civic efforts. Rylee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Oklahoma City University. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband and three children, being outdoors, practicing yoga, and reading nonfiction.

Cassie Brethen comes to JCI USA with a background in nonprofit program design and delivery. In her previous role, Cassie established a mobile food distribution program with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina that currently provides over 1 million pounds of food each year to families facing food insecurity across the state. She previously received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Catawba College and completed a variety of service projects across the country through AmeriCorps NCCC FEMA Corps. Passionate about public service and professional development, she is excited to support JCI USA across all four Areas of Opportunity! A North Carolina native, Cassie lives in Raleigh with her husband and an adorable shiba inu mix pup named Teddy.
