Fil-NYer Salu-Salo in partners with The Power House NYC, aligns with the Jaycee Mission by creating a welcoming development opportunity for young professionals, current members, prospective members, and community partners to connect through Filipino hospitality, shared conversation, and intentional relationship-building.
The project supports JCI Philippine-New York’s membership growth by turning a cultural gathering into a low-pressure introduction to JCI. Instead of presenting membership only through formal meetings, the project allows prospects to experience the chapter’s warmth, leadership culture, and community network firsthand.
Through this project, members practice hosting, outreach, facilitation, storytelling, and relationship-building. Prospective members are introduced to JCI as a place where young people can build meaningful friendships, serve the community, and create positive change together.
